Suicidal Performance
Rovers were 2 goals up within 24 minutes and then
proceeded to commit suicide with Gordon Lennon scoring an own goal for the
second Saturday in a row then Nicoll giving away a penalty. Once more inability
to deal with crossed balls into the box contributed as the team went on to lose
a further 3 goals as they went down 5-2 dropping to 8th place in the table.
On top of that striker Iain Chisholm was stretchered off and taken to hospital in the waiting St. Andrews Ambulance.
A full match report shall be on the site later!

Beaten
But Not Bowed
Rovers lost the Challenge Cup semi-final 4 -1 last
night in Dingwall.
A large travelling support were vociferous and drowned out the larger home crowd. The journey was quicker that expected and the bus was in Coatbridge around 1am. A match report with a couple of pics will be on the site later!

Rock-y Road To Dingwall
In the shadow of Dumbarton Rock Rovers played their
match before the trip north to play Ross County and one wonders if that was on
the players minds losing 3 - 1 failing to score a penalty and Gordon Lennon
scoring at the wrong end. The team seemed to miss Joe Savage up front and the
large travelling support were left disappointed as the side dropped to 7th in
the table.
A full match report with copious pictures will be on the site later.

Dumbarton
Rovers frontman
Joe Savage misses tomorrows match at the
Strathclyde Homes Stadium due to a 1 match suspension just handed down for an
infringement from last season while with East Fife. Dumbarton may miss a couple
of influential players recovering from injury but Jim Chapman should have an
injury free squad to chose from.
There is no supporters' bus going tomorrow but most fans are travelling by train as there are 4 trains an hour from Coatdyke/Sunnyside/Blairhill costing £5.10 for an adult return (based on leaving from Sunnyside) to Dumbarton East which is 5 minutes walk from the ground. Transit time 57 mins from Sunnyside, slightly less if you get an express train!
Semi-Final
The bus is filling fast for Wednesdays trip to Dingwall and the club have
decided to refund entrance money (on the bus) paid upfront as this makes the
logistics easier on arrival at Victoria Park. Adult travelers will pay the £8
and pay at the gate on arrival.
Ciaran Donnelly misses this match due to suspension.
