AGM
The clubs AGM notices shall start popping through letterboxes tomorrow morning (Tuesday) and anybody requiring a proxy to attend on their behalf must have the form filled in and returned to Cliftonhill at latest on Tuesday 27th November. The meeting is being held at the lounge in Cliftonhill commencing 7.30pm on Thursday 29th November.

The accounts included with the AGM notice show a small operating profit as chairman Frank Meade had foretold.

Players Moving
There has been some turnover in playing staff recently and to clarify Ray Inglis and Gary McLenaghan who signed earlier in the season have left for pastures new. Moving in the other direction is defender/midfielder Richard Buckley, the former Aberdeen player arrives from Troon. Also arriving is goalkeeping coach Barry Daniel who was formerly with East Stirlingshire.

Cup Game
The club remind fans that season tickets are not valid for the East Stirlingshire match this Saturday.

AGM
The date of the clubs AGM has been set for Thursday 29th November. Although primarily held to scrutinise club accounts for the year ended June 2007 the event is likely to be overshadowed by the revelation by chairman Frank Meade that the board of directors would not rule out the club relocating to East Kilbride.

The article made it clear that a move away from Cliftonhill is increasingly looking like the best plan and that a couple of unspecified sites in Coatbridge were currently under consideration. The difficulty in attracting fans in Coatbridge is one reason for East Kilbride figuring in the thoughts of the directors. The new town has no senior football club and has a population approaching double that of Coatbridge.

Applause
A minutes applause will be held on Saturday before kick-off in memory of Jimmy Lawson. This is more upbeat than the traditional minute of silence and was experienced and participated in by Rovers fans. players and officials at Methil in the recent game against East Fife for a former club servant of theirs.

After the match the club are laying on beer (free of charge) in the lounge for fans in memory of "The Wee Man".

The funeral was very well attended on Wednesday with many players both past and present, current and former board members, fans and at least one former manager along with the current gaffer and Jimmy's family and friends.

End of an Era
Former Cliftonhill stalwart of 50 or more years Jimmy Lawson has died aged 79. Jimmy retired from his duties with the club only recently due to his ill health. For many years he was the man who did just about everything behind the scenes such as cleaning the kit and preparing the pitch for matches.

For many of us Cliftonhill will seem a strange place without Jimmy! Our condolences go to his family.

Wright and Wrong
Kenny Wright was the Rovers hero at Ochilview when he scored the winner seconds from time. The shine was taken off it when he received a second yellow and the resultant red card for removing his shirt when celebrating the goal. Rovers  leapfrogged Stenhousemuir to take 8th place in the league table. Next Saturdays match is another "6 pointer" as Dumbarton who lead Rovers only on goal difference visit Cliftonhill.
