session - see the chat page for details.

"I would like to contribute personally half the cost of the supporters bus for the next two away games (Stenny and Hampden). There are two reasons for this (1) This is an expensive time of the year for some supporters and (2) If we can pick up some points from the next few games it will keep us in touch with the teams above us and hopefully act as a springboard for a mid table finish. The supporters can lift the players like a twelfth man especially away from home and hopefully the postponed matches have not affected our improving form too much."
Lew also passes on his best wishes for a happy new year.
Festive Buses
Transport to the next couple of matches are as follows, Stenhousemuir Saturday
31st leaves from Owen's at 12.30pm for a 2.00 pm k-o. Bus to Hampden 2nd
January leaves from Owen's at 1.30pm for a 3.00 pm k-o.

Arbroath Match
It seems that there is no hurry to reschedule yesterdays
postponed match against Arbroath and it's likely
to be February before the Red Lichties visit Cliftonhill.

'Shire Match
The match postponed last Saturday at home to East
Stirlingshire has as expected, been rescheduled for Saturday 7th January. That
day was kept free for the Scottish cup 3rd round matches which sadly doesn't
include either side.

Match
Off!
Today's match against East Stirlingshire has been
postponed due to a hard pitch. It was the match referee who decided it was
unplayable on arrival much to the chagrin of both sides.
It seems likely that the game shall be re-arranged for Saturday 7th January which was left aside for Scottish Cup 3rd round ties as both sides are out of that competition. One upside of the postponement is that Rovers 'keeper Jamie Ewings was struggling to make it today due to an ankle injury and shall hopefully be fit before the next game.
