| Pre-season Friendly 18th July 2009 |
Scorers ~ Albion Rovers : O'Byrne (3), Pollock (15), Barr (41), McCusker (74), Walker (76), Crozier (90).
It didn't take Rovers long to find their shooting boots in this area better known for its rugby that football. Michael O'Byrne heading home from a corner in just three minutes. Next was Marc Pollock who struck a Boyle ball into the net.
With half-time on the horizon Bobby Barr ran through the defence to slot home. The second half produced it's first goal in 74 minutes when Marc McCusker scored. It was only a couple of minutes later when Pat Walker grabbed another.
Assistant Manager Todd Lumsden had to be helped off the pitch with a suspected ligament injury which may well see him miss the opening encounters of the season. Brendan Crozier completed the rout of the East of Scotland side in injury time.
Quietest man of the day was Derek Gaston who hardly had anything to do between the posts.
